The listing has also revealed that the SoC has a six-core architecture with a peak clock speed of 3.78GHz. The SoC has two clusters with two cores and four cores and is paired with 8GB of RAM. Apart from this, the listing didn’t reveal anything else.

To recall, Apple unveiled the A17 Pro SoC with the iPhone 15 Pro series smartphones. The Cupertino giant revealed that the A17 Pro SoC on the iPhone 15 Pro models packs a hexa-core CPU and GPU setup. However, the spec sheet of the iPad Mini (2024) reveals that it has a five-core GPU.

The five-core GPU for the A17 Pro SoC confirms that the latest iPad has a slightly downgraded variant of the SoC. The reason behind the downgrade might be that iPads don’t require much power, unlike iPhones. Apple is expected to roll out the Apple Intelligence features with the iOS 18.1 update. The update is expected in a few days.
