Lenovo Tab K9 / Lenovo Tab One Spotted on BIS Certification; India Launch Expected Soon

Lenovo is gearing up for the launch of a new tablets in India. Team MySmartPrice has identified the upcoming Lenovo Tab K9/Lenovo Tab One tablets on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website.

The BIS certification has listed the forthcoming Lenovo tablets with the TB305FU and TB305XU model numbers. The “TB305FU” model number was previously listed on the Google Play Console database with the Lenovo Tab K9 / Lenovo Tab One marketing names.

The TB305FU and TB305XU model numbers were certified by EEC in the past, suggesting their imminent global launch. A tipster on X (formerly Twitter) suggests that the Lenovo Tab One may be designed for business use, while the Tab K9 is aimed at regular consumers.

The Tab K9 was also listed on the OCN (Open Computer Network) website with the ZAF20010JP and ZAF30012JP model numbers. The OCN website reveals that the tablet will feature an 8.7-inch IPS LCD panel with a 1340 x 800 pixel resolution and 10-point multi-touch support.

The Tab K9 will sport the popular MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC internal storage. It will measures 9mm in thickness and weigh 320 grams. The Tab K9’s camera setup will consist of an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.

The device will house a 5,100mAh battery with support for 20W wired charging. It will also feature stereo speakers and boot Android 14 out of the box. The other features will include a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an optical sensor, an acceleration sensor, a proximity sensor, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and more.
