Redmi Pad Unboxing Video Reveals Full-Design Ahead of Official Launch

The Redmi Pad will offer a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio.

Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Pad tablet on October 4 in the Indian market. The specifications, design renders, and price of the upcoming Redmi tablet has already been leaked. In a new development, an unboxing video has surfaced on the web which reveals the overall design of the Redmi Pad.

To those unaware, the Redmi Pad is the company’s first product in the Android tablet segment and is said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The upcoming Redmi Pad is said to offer a 10.6-inch display panel and a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. Redmi Pad: Design

The unboxing video reveals the overall design of the upcoming Redmi tablet. The Redmi Pad will offers a big display with symmetrical bezels. The top bezel (in the landscape mode) will house the front shooter as can be seen in the image above. The tablet will feature a unibody design and will offer a single rear camera.

The top edge of the Redmi Pad will house a couple of speakers and the power button. Dolby Atmos branding can also be seen in between the speakers confirming its inclusion on the Redmi Pad. Another pair of speakers, along with the Type-C port, will reside at the bottom of the Redmi Pad. The right edge will make room for the volume rockers and the microSD card slot.

Redmi Pad: Specifications and Features

The video confirms that the Redmi Pad will be available in a 4GB + 128GB configuration. The retail box of the device will include a 22.5W fast charging adapter and a USB Type-A to Type-C cable. The retail box confirms that the Redmi Pad will feature a 10.61-inch display panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also reveals the device will come equipped with an 8,000mAh battery unit and a MediaTek Helio G99 processor.
