Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro: Everything We Know So Far

A tipster on the Chinese social media platform Weibo recently mentioned that the upcoming tablets could launch alongside the Xiaomi 15 series smartphones. This seems likely given that the company used a similar strategy for the Pad 6 Max 14 and Pad 6S Pro launches.

The tipster also revealed that the Pad 7 will feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and is expected to launch in September this year. If this turns out to be true then its a significant upgrade from its predecessor, which ran on the Snapdragon 870 SoC.

Additionally, the upcoming tablets are reported to have larger displays and will run on HyperOS. The design is expected to stay mostly the same as the previous model, with a square camera island on the back.

However, it’s important to note that the company has not teased any of these details, so until there’s official confirmation, these leaks should be taken with caution.
