Tagg has announced a new smartwatch in India called the Tagg Verve Active. The latest smartwatch in the Verve series comes with a large display and it also packs in a bunch of health and fitness relates features. The smartwatch is priced under Rs 5,000 and will take on the likes of Boat, Fire-Boltt, and Amazfit budget wearables. Let’s take a look at the new Verve Active in detail.
Tagg Verve Active Price and Availability
The Tagg Verve Active is priced at Rs 3,999 and the smartwatch is available in four colour options: Black, Green, Gold, Grey, and Purple. It will go on sale in India via Flipkart starting January 14 at 12 noon.
Specifications and Features
The Tagg Verve Active sports a 1.7-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with 240 x 280-pixel resolution, 80% screen to body ratio, and up to 500 nits of max brightness. The watch also supports multiple watch faces which can be set via the companion application. The watch comes with a button on the side for navigation across the UI. The straps are interchangeable and the watch weighs just 38 grams.
Further, in terms of health-related features, there is a blood-oxygen monitor, heart rate sensor, body temperature monitor, and blood pressure monitor. You also get sleep tracking with deep sleep and light sleep insights. In terms of fitness tracking, the Verve Active offers 24 different sports modes including walking, running, climbing, yoga, basketball, cycling, football, badminton, football, badminton, skipping, and swimming.
On a single charge, the Tagg Verve Active is rated to last up to 8 days with normal usage and up to 4 days for heavy usage. A 10-minute charge will offer a 10% charge, while a 15% battery is said to last up to 24 hours.
As for the smart features, the wearable supports music control, weather updates, alarm, stopwatch, timer, alarms, call and SMS alerts, and notifications mirroring from the paired phone. Other features include IP68 dust and water resistance, TAGG+ App support, Bluetooth 5.0, and smart assistant.
