Tata Sky rebranded to Tata Play, Adds Netflix Add-On Bundled Service, Binge Combo Packs Announced

India’s leading DTH platform Tata Sky is being rebranded to Tata Play. The company announced the rebranding on eve of Republic Day. The new brand identity will be visible to customers starting from January 27.

Apart from renaming the Tata Sky to Tata Play, the DTH provider also has brought in a Netflix as an add-on bundled service to its vast bouquet of offerings. That apart new binge combo packs are also announced in recent development.

Tata Sky Broadband Rebrands To Tata Play Fiber

Additionally, the company also has changed its name of the broadband business from Tata Sky broadband to Tata Sky Fiber. The brand also has announced the new app called Tata Play Binge, which will allow users to access content from 13 OTT apps via a single user interface while offering the flexibility of a single subscription and payment.

As mentioned above, the Tata Sky also has introduced new binge combo packs. The new packs starts at Rs 399 and they would be promoted by Bollywood actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan in national markets and megastars R Madhavan and Priyamani will be the face of the campaign for the South markets. The company as of now has not shared any details about this new plan.

Furthermore, the company also announced that it is making its service visits free for all customers starting January 26. Apart from this the company also confirmed that the de-active DTH customers can continue to recharge and get restarted on the platform with No reconnection charges.
