Tecno Camon 16: Specifications and Features

Starting things off with the display, Tecno Camon 16 features a bezel-less edge-to-edge display with a punch-hole notch on the left corner. It packs a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with 1640×720 resolution, 480nits brightness, and 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone packs an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 SoC under-the-hood, which is built on a 12nm fabrication process. While the graphics duties are handled by the integrated Mali-G52 GPU. The smartphone comes with 64GB onboard storage which can further be expanded via a dedicated micro-SD card.

Coming to the optics, the smartphone packs a 64MP quad rear cameras inside a squircle camera island. The primary sensor comes with an f/1.79 aperture and gets accompanied by a 2MP macro lens, 2MP depth sensor, and a dedicated AI lens. There is also a penta LED flash on the back. The smartphone packs a 16MP front-facing camera with a dual-LED flash. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and has a micro-USB port for charging. It features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that can be found right below the camera module.

It runs Android 10 with Tecno’s HiOS 7.0 skin on top. It supports Dual 4G VoLTE, 2.4/5 GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 5, and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.
