Tecno has launched new budget smartphones in India under its Camon series. The company has launched two devices, the Tecno Camon 19 and the 19 Neo in India. Both smartphones have been priced under Rs 15,000. The Camon 19 is the pricier model of the two smartphones launched today in India. 

Both smartphones share most of the hardware. The key difference between the Neo and the vanilla model is the camera setup. The devices feature a polycarbonate back panel that houses the two large cutouts for the triple-camera setup. Tecno Camon 19, Camon 19 Neo Price in India

Tecno Camon 19 series is the latest entrant in the budget smartphone category in India. The Camon 19 comes in a single storage option. It has 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. The phone also supports 5GB of virtual RAM. It is priced at Rs 14,999. The device comes in Eco Black, Sea Salt White and Geometric Green colours.

The Camon 19 Neo, on the other hand, has a price tag of Rs 12,499. The phone also has the same 6GB + 128GB storage configuration. It comes in Dreamland Green, Ice Mirror and Eco Black colour options.

Both phones will go on sale starting July 23 via Amazon India.

Tecno Camon 19, Camon 19 Neo: Specifications 

Both phones sport a 6.58-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with 500 nits of peak brightness. The screen has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. Both models feature a standard 60Hz refresh rate display.

Under the hood, the devices feature a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. The processor is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Both devices get up to 5GB of virtual RAM support. The phones have a 16MP front camera.

On the back, the Camon 19 has a 64MP triple-camera setup, whereas the Camon 19 Neo has a 48MP triple-camera setup. The company has not shared details about the other two sensors.

Both phones pack a 5,000mAh battery and support 18W fast charging out of the box. They run Android 12 out of the box and have a layer of HiOS on top.
