The upcoming TECNO V Flip is expected to be the cheapest flip-style smartphone in India. The smartphone has received various certifications, including the listing on Google Play Console. Now, tipster Paras Guglani has shared the complete specifications of the upcoming Phantom V Flip smartphone. The tipster has also shared a smartphone render along with the India launch details.

The document shared by Guglani on X (formerly Twitter) reveals the AD11 model number, which was previously confirmed through the Google Play Console listing. TECNO will launch its first clamshell smartphone in three colour options. The documents confirm the presence of the minimal black, film white, and periwinkle purple colour options.
Paras previously shared a render of the upcoming device in the periwinkle purple colour option. The tipster added that TECNO will soon debut the smartphone in the Indian market after the global debut of the device. The upcoming clamshell smartphone will have a dimension of 172.35 x 74 x 7.05 mm. The thickness of the device will increase to 15.1mm when folded.
The upcoming clamshell smartphone from TECNO has the same thickness when folded compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone. The document divulges that the upcoming clamshell smartphone will have a primary 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 2640 x 1080 pixels resolution.
TECNO will likely equip the primary and cover displays with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Shenzen-based OEM will equip the device with a 1.32-inch cover AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 pixels resolution. However, the document doesn’t reveal any information regarding the chipset details of the upcoming device.
The Google Play Console listing highlighted the presence of the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. The chipset is built on a 6nm process and features four Cortex A78 cores at 2.6GHz, four Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz, and a Mali-G77 GPU. The Play Console listing also publicized that the device will run on Android 13 out of the box.
The document discloses that the chipset will pair with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The document adds that TECNO wouldn’t equip the device with support for expanding storage. TECNO will pack the smartphone with dual rear cameras placed inside a circular camera layout.
The rear camera setup will comprise a 64MP primary sensor with Autofocus and a secondary 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The device will be equipped with a 32MP selfie camera, which will be placed inside the punch-hole. TECNO will equip the smartphone with dual battery cells with a rated capacity of 2790mAh and 1210mAh.
The upcoming clamshell smartphone will have a rated battery capacity of 4000mAh. Other specifications of TECNO Phantom V Flip include a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.3, and support for over 14 5G bands.
