Tecno Phantom X to Launch in India this Week: To Feature Helio G95 SoC, 90Hz Display

Tecno, back in June 2021, had announced the Tecno Phantom X smartphone. The Tecno Phantom X is the company’s top-of-the-line offering and comes with a curved display panel. In the latest development, a micro-site has gone live on Amazon India confirming that the handset will soon launch in the Indian market. Though the micro-site doesn’t reveal the Tecno Phantom X India launch date, the leaked information suggests that the handset will launch this month in the Indian market.

The Phantom X makes use of a curved OLED display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate. Other highlights of the Phantom X include a MediaTek Helio G95 processor, a 50MP rear camera, a 48MP selfie camera, and a 4700mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Tecno Phantom X Specifications and Features

The Tecno Phantom X offers a 6.7-inch Full HD+ sAMOLED display with a 2340 × 1080 pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device comes with a curved display and offers an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.

Powering the Phantom X is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor and a Mali G76 GPU. To those unaware, the Helio G95 is a mid-range processor that powers several mid-range devices including Redmi Note 10S, Realme Narzo 30, and Realme 8.

In terms of optics, the handset offers a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary camera. Accompanying it is an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 13MP 50mm portrait camera. For selfies and video calls, it relies on dual front cameras that include a 48MP primary shooter and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

The Tecno Phantom X is backed by a 4700mAh battery unit and supports 33W fast charging. It comes in two colour options – Starry Night Blue and Monet Summer.
