Tecno, last month, launched the Tecno Pop 7 Pro smartphone in the Indian market. The company will soon introduce another Pop series smartphone – the Tecno Pop 7 as it has been spotted on the Google Play Console listing database, courtesy of Pricebaba. As the name suggests, the Tecno Pop 7 will sit below the Pop 7 Pro and might be cheaper than it as well.
Alongside the Google Play Console, the Tecno Pop 7 has also been spotted on several other certification websites including FCC, NBTC, Bluetooth SIG, and EEC. These certification listings reveal some of the key specifications of the upcoming Pop series smartphone. Let us take a closer look at what Tecno Pop 7 might have in store for us.
Tecno Pop 7: Specifications
The Tecno Pop 7 Google Play Console listing reveals that the device has the model number BF6. Going by the listing, the smartphone will feature an HD+ display with a 720 × 1612 pixel resolution, 320ppi pixel density, and a waterdrop notch. The listing further reveals that the upcoming Pop series smartphone will sport an octa-core UniSoC SC9863A processor and 2GB of RAM under the hood. The smartphone will rely on an IMG PowerVR GE8322 graphics unit.
The smartphone also made an appearance on the Geekbench database in the past. It managed to score 127 points in the single-core round of the Geekbench 5 test. Whereas, in the multi-core round of the same test, it scored 451 points. The smartphone will come pre-loaded with Android 12 but since it has 2GB of RAM, we can expect it to boot Android Go Edition.

The upcoming Pop 7 also made an appearance on Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification database. The FCC certification listing reveals that the smartphone will be equipped with 64GB of onboard storage. The handset will feature support for 10W charging as per the FCC listing. Also, the listing revealed that the Tecno Pop 7 will measure 164 × 74 × 8mm.
The FCC certification listing also reveals the schematics of the device which confirms a huge camera module on the back panel, similar to the Pro model. The handset appears to have three circular cutouts, so we can expect it to offer a dual-rear camera setup or Tecno might reserve one circular cutout for some text.
The Tecno Pop 7 was previously spotted on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) database which revealed the support for Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. It will be a 4G-only device. We can also expect it to offer a fingerprint scanner.
