Tecno Pova Neo 5G India Launch Officially Teased to Take Place Soon: To Feature Dimensity 810 SoC

Tecno India is gearing up to launch a new smartphone under the Pova series – the Tecno Pova Neo 5G. The company has announced that the upcoming Tecno Pova Neo 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. The upcoming Pova Neo 5G will be the company’s second 5G-enabled smartphone under the Pova lineup. To those unaware, the company launched its first smartphone with 5G connectivity – Tecno Pova 5G earlier this year in India.

Tecno hasn’t revealed the launch date for the upcoming Pova series device but we can expect it to make a debut this festive season. There is also a possibility of Pova Neo 5G making its India debut during Amazon’s Great Indian Festival sale which starts tomorrow. The specifications and features of the Tecno Pova Neo 5G were leaked on the web a few months ago. As per the leaked information, the Tecno Pova Neo 5G will feature a 6.9-inch display with a punch hole notch and a 90Hz refresh rate. The upcoming Pova series device is tipped to launch in a sole configuration which is 4GB + 64GB. The smartphone is also said to offer virtual RAM feature.

The Tecno Pova Neo 5G is tipped to launch in a single colour option which is Electric Blue. The upcoming Pova series device will reportedly be backed by a 6000mAh battery unit and 33W fast charging support. The device is said to come pre-loaded with Android 12.

In the terms of pricing, the Pova Neo 5G might be cheaper compared to the Pova 5G. So, we can expect it to be priced under Rs 20,000 in the country. Tecno is also gearing up to launch the Tecno Pop 6 Pro in the Indian market.
