Tecno unveiled its Spark 8 lineup in India back in January, followed by the Pova 5G earlier this month. The Spark 8C was later launched in Nigeria and Thailand and now appears to be making its way to India.
The Tecno Spark 8C runs Android 11 (Go edition), has virtually expandable memory, and a dual rear camera module. The company has now started teasing the phone for India, and a marketing poster reveals that the phone could be priced below Rs 8,000 in the country. Tecno Spark 8C to Be Priced Below Rs 8,000 in India
The company recently shared a poster on its Twitter handle revealing that the Tecno Spark 8C is coming soon in the country. The official teaser also reveals that the phone would be sold via Amazon.
A new report by Passionategeekz reveals that the phone will be priced below Rs 8,000 in India. The leaked poster also mentions that the phone will have support for expandable virtual RAM (up to 3GB), which will be available via an OTA update in the future.
Tecno Spark 8C Specifications
The Tecno Spark 8C previously launched in certain markets sports a 6.6-inch 90Hz HD+ display with a screen resolution of 720×1,612 pixels and a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera.
The handset is powered by an unspecified octa-core chipset (rumoured to be the UniSoC T616 SoC) paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For optics, Spark 8C packs in a dual-camera module on the rear. The primary camera module is a 13MP shooter with an f/1.8 aperture paired with dual-LED flash. On the front, users get an 8-megapixel camera sensor for selfies.
Fueling the smartphone is a 5,000mAh battery. There’s the presence of a rear counter fingerprint scanner as well. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a micro-USB port for charging and data transfer.
