Last month, smartphone manufacturer Tecno announced the launch of its latest smartphone, the Tecno Spark 8. Now, it looks like the company is gearing up for a new addition, the Tecno Spark 8P. Today, Twitter user Paras Guglani has shared quite a few renders of the upcoming Tecno smartphone that provides hints at various features of the device, such as the camera positioning, rear panel, and so on. Let us take a look at the Spark 8, its features, specifications and more.
Tecno Spark 8P Leaks in Renders, Key Specifications Detailed
According to @passionategeekz, the upcoming Tecno Spark 8P features a large 6.6-inch Full-HD+ display with a waterdrop notch on the front, to house the selfie camera. The phone has narrow bezels on three out of the four sides, with a prominent chin on the bottom.
As for its design, there appears to be a dual-patterned design on the back, with a textured surface on the bottom half and a glossy looking design on the top. One can spot vertical stripes running down the back, making the device look unique. There’s a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary shooter. Currently, there is no information on the other two sensors, but it is likely to be a 2-megapixel depth and macro lens.
Under the hood, the phone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It’s said to feature a 5,000mAh battery inside, as well as quick charging capabilities. The Tecno Spark 8P will be available in four colours, namely Turquoise Cyan, Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple, and Cocoa Gold
The Spark 8P is also rumoured to carry a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a DTS stereo speaker setup. That said, there is no information on when the phone would arrive, nor its pricing information. We do expect to see some more information in the next few weeks.
