Tecno has launched a new budget smartphone in its Spark 9 series. The company has launched the Tecno Spark 9T in Nigeria. The device is expected to launch in other markets as well, including India. There is currently no word from the brand regarding the launch of this budget Android smartphone.

The Spark 9T comes in four different colour options. It has a polycarbonate back with a huge camera island at the top. The phone has a triple-camera setup on the back. Let’s take a look at the Tecno Spark 9T price, specifications, features and other details.

Tecno Spark 9T Price and Specifications 

Tecno has launched the Spark 9T in Nigeria. The phone comes in two storage options. Its base model has 4GB of RAM under the hood. This variant comes with 64GB of internal storage and is priced at 78,300 Naira (roughly Rs 14,700). The 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at 88,000 Naira (roughly Rs 16,500).

It comes in four colours – Turquoise Cyan, Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple and Cocoa Gold. 

In terms of specifications, the phone sports a fairly tall 6.6-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution. It has a tiny waterdrop notch at the top centre for the front camera. The screen also supports a standard 60Hz refresh rate display. 

For selfies, the phone has an 8MP front camera. It has a 13MP camera sensor on the back along with a 2MP depth sensor. The device also features an AI lens. 

Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Dimensity G37 SoC. The entry-level chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM along with up to 128GB of internal storage. There is support for storage expansion via a microSD card slot. The device packs a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 10W charging out of the box.

The Spark 9T runs Android 12 out of the box. It has a layer of Tecno’s custom HiOS 8.6 skin on top. Other details include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port for charging.
