Tecno has confirmed the launch of a new budget smartphone in India. The company will launch the Spark 9T in India very soon. The exact launch date of the phone is unknown at the time of writing this. The company has confirmed that the Spark 9T will be available for purchase via Amazon India. The banner on the Spark 9T Amazon microsite reveals the design and some key specifications of the phone.
The Spark 9T will have a dual-tone design. It will come with a triple-camera setup on the back. Let’s take a look at the Tecno Spark 9T specifications, design and other details revealed ahead of its India launch.
Tecno Spark 9T India Launch
Tecno has confirmed the launch of the Spark 9T in India. The budget Android smartphone is the second offering in the Spark 9 series. Tecno has confirmed that the phone will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. The top portion of the camera island has a glossy finish, whereas the remaining two-thirds of the rear panel has a matte finish with vertical stripes.
The rear panel, which has a blue colour, also has the “Stop at nothing” text on the back. There is a Green colour option launching in India as well. We can expect the phone to launch in more colour options. Regarding the specifications, the 9T is confirmed to feature a 50MP main camera sensor. If not ultrawide, the phone will have two 2MP sensors for depth sensing and macro photos.
Tecno has also confirmed that the phone will pack a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, which is a budget chipset. The phone will come with 4GB of RAM and 3GB of virtual RAM support. We can expect the company to launch the phone with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.
The phone will sport a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch for the front camera. It will have a standard 60Hz refresh rate screen. The phone will also sport a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, further suggesting the use of an IPS LCD.
The Spark 9T will pack a 5000 mAh battery. It will support 18W fast charging out of the box. We can also expect the phone to boot Android 12 out of the box.
