It looks like Tecno Spark is getting an update. Last year’s Tecno Spark Go is expected to be updated, and we assume that the company may launch the phone after it launches the Tecno Spark 8T, for which teasers have started appearing.
However, today two live images of the new upcoming Tecno Spark Go 2022 appeared on Twitter, sharing a glimpse of the phone and revealing a some of the key specs. Sadly, the photos posted on Twitter don’t show the front and the back fully.

Tecno Spark Go 2022: How it looks
The first photo shows the back partially, revealing only the camera module and something that looks like a fingerprint scanner. The camera module, at first glance, looks like one with a triple-camera setup but if you observe closely, it is mentioned that the phone comes with a dual-camera setup. Two lenses are visible there, along with a third camera lens like pattern, with the word AI written on it. There seems to be a single LED flash on the back and a fingerprint scanner. Though the camera configuration on the phone isn’t clear yet, on the front of the phone, stickers throw some light- There seems to be a 13-megapixel camera on the back, alongside maybe a depth sensor.

Leaked specs
The stickers on the front also reveal some of the other details like the display of the Tecno Spark Go 2022. The phone features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a tiny dot notch at the top which houses the front-facing camera for sure. There is the mention of a 5000mAh battery as well. Some other things are also mentioned, like DTS Stereo Sound effects, Soplay Music Mixer and Super Boost System Optimization, which could be a software feature in the custom skin.
Some sources claim that the phone will run Android 11 out of the box and the phone will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio A22 coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. However, we haven’t been able to verify these pieces of information yet, hence we ask readers to take this with a pinch of salt.
