Jio’s Rs 601 Data Voucher: Unlimited 5G for One Year
Jio’s Rs 601 data voucher is a Diwali special plan from the telecom operator. It is available only for prepaid users, on the official MyJio app and website. Customers can access unlimited 5G data for 1 full year through 12 individual data vouchers. Here’s how it works:
- Purchase the Rs 601 data voucher from the MyJio app/website.
- The customer will receive 12 data vouchers of Rs 51 each with unlimited 5G data for 1 month.
- These vouchers need to be redeemed by the customer from their MyJio app, every month.
This data voucher is helpful for those Jio users whose plans don’t include 5G. To recall, Jio’s True 5G is only available on plans with 2GB daily data or higher. Hence, the Rs 601 data voucher can be combined with plans that offer 1.5GB/day or 2GB/month data.
The Rs 601 data voucher can be transferred to any user in the form of a gift. However, once the data voucher is activated on a Jio number, the individual Rs 51 monthly vouchers cannot be transferred.
Jio has three 5G data vouchers worth Rs 51, 101, and Rs 151. These vouchers provide unlimited 5G data on any base plan with a validity of 1 month, 3 months, and 1 year, respectively. The Rs 601 plan is a combination of 12 ‘Rs 51’ vouchers, making it easier for users to have an affordable base plan and pair it with 5G connectivity.
It is important to note that you need to have an active base plan to use these data vouchers. The 5G data voucher will carry the same validity as your base plan.
