Archies have been the love of millions of kids all around the world and its characters are all adored by the comic’s fans. Now, the comic is coming to celluloid in India. The Archies, a live-action musical movie by Netflix, will be available to stream really soon on the platform.
The series is an Indian adaptation of the comics, directed by Zoya Akhter for Netflix. The project will transport us to the 1960s and is a partnership between the streaming service and Archie Comics. Archie, Betty, Kevin, Reggie, the Pussycats, The Black Hood, The Shield, Sam Hill, Li’l Jinx, and a host of other well-known characters may be found in Archie Comics.
The Archies, a highly anticipated Netflix film, has begun releasing promotional materials in advance of its official release. Netflix India and Archies Netflix have dropped a reel on Instagram in which “Follow @archiesoninstagram” is written on a flier that is fastened to a plane in the Reel. Visual effects (VFX) were used to produce the advertisement. The series marks the debut of many star kids in showbiz.
When and Where to Watch the Archies
Netflix has announced that it will soon be premiering the movie on its platform, however, the streaming service has not disclosed the date for the release. So, in the meantime, viewers need to have their subscription to the streaming giant upgraded.

Official Trailer and Plot
According to some reports, the movie is based on the issue of environment. The teaser of the movie also shows greenery all around in the background of the characters. However, no official synopsis is available for the show. The movie will showcase the youthful energy, enthusiasm, and excitement of the 1960s in a musical experience filled with youth, rebellion, friendships, first loves, and everything about young adults. The Archies, which is co-written by Reema Kagti and Ayesha Devitre, is directed by Zoya Akhtar.
The movie has generated quite a buzz among the audience as it is marked as a “Nepo babies” film. Agasthya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, and Khusie Kapoor, the younger sister of Janhvi Kapoor, are all famous children whose commercial debut will be in the film. Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina will also appear in the film.
The movie’s filming was finished in December 2022. The gang has just left for Brazil for Netflix’s Tudum event. Agastya will play Archie in the movie if claims in the media are to be believed. Suhana and Khusie may be portraying the parts of Betty and Veronica, the main character’s love interests, even though specifics about their characters have not yet been made public. The movie is produced by Tiger Baby Films, co-owned by Zoya Akhter and Reema Kagti.

The teaser of the movie was released almost a year ago and has been viewed by 3,547,698 people till now and showing the anticipation this movie has created among the audience.
