In November of last year, streaming service Prime Video announced that the anticipated “John Wick” prequel series “The Continental” will debut on their platform in 2023. Now, it has announced the release date of the show. The Continental, the eagerly awaited special event series inspired by the successful action franchise John Wick, will debut on Prime Video. Produced by Lionsgate Television, the prequel will be exclusively accessible to Prime Video subscribers starting on September 22 in all countries except the United States, the Middle East, and Israel. The event series “The Continental” reveals the bloody beginnings of the famous hotel-for-assassins in the John Wick universe. Winston Scott gathers a team in 1970s New York City to combat a massive conspiracy that was started by his brother’s attack on The Continental. The violent action movie investigates how fate, family love, and retaliation collide.

Colin Woodwell plays Winston Scott, the manager of the hotel, which serves as a haven for assassins.
