Fans of the Marvel Universe have a reason to rejoice. As we all know, as part of Phase 5 of the MCU, The Marvels, formerly known as Captain Marvel 2, will unite some of the most formidable female superheroes in the Marvel universe in November, later this year. And Marvel has just dropped the trailer of the movie.
This is Captain Marvel’s sequel, which debuted Carol to the public just in time for the monumental Avengers: Endgame Infinity Saga finale. The Marvels was once scheduled for release on July 28th, 2023, as the year’s final MCU movie. Following the Quantumania premiere, Marvel secretly postponed the release date to November 10, 2023, in line with rumours that the studio might alter the frequency of its MCU releases.

Official Trailer and Plot
Carol Danvers, nicknamed Captain Marvel, has exacted revenge on the Supreme Intelligence and recovered her identity from the oppressive Kree. However, unanticipated consequences force Carol to bear the weight of a universe in disarray.
Her powers combine with those of Jersey City superfan Kamala Khan, aka Ms Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau, when her responsibilities take her to an anomalous wormhole connected to a Kree revolutionary.
To preserve the universe as “The Marvels,” these unlikely three will need to come together and learn how to cooperate, says the official synopsis of the movie.
Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Park Seo-Joon, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson are among the cast members of “The Marvels” from Marvel Studios.
Director Nia DaCosta is joined by producer Kevin Feige for the movie. Executive producers include Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, Jonathan Schwartz, and Matthew Jenkins. Megan McDonnell, Nia DaCosta, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells wrote the script for the movie.

Marvel Universe is hugely popular among audiences and it shows 71,175 views, within half an hour of the release of the trailer of the movie. The movie will be released in November and we have to wait for people’s reactions to it. Till then, watch out for this space for more updates on the movie.
