OnePlus has launched many affordable smartphones under the Nord branding in countries including India. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G was launched on April 2022 in India and is now due for an upgrade. The upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite was previously spotted on OnePlus’s official website. It indicated that the launch of the smartphone may be around the corner. OnePlus will soon launch some products in the Nord 3 series, including OnePlus Nord 3 and OnePlus Nord CE 3, in India. Ahead of the official announcement, tipster Max Jambor has claimed the launch date of the upcoming Nord CE 3 Lite smartphone.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G: Launch Date Tipped and Rumoured Specifications

The tipster reveals that the smartphone will launch on April 4 in India. Earlier, it was tipped that the smartphone may be priced at around Rs 18,999 to compete with budget smartphones from other brands. The upcoming smartphone is said to be a minor upgrade from the existing Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. Previously, it was said to feature a 6.7-inch LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution. OnePlus will equip the display with a 120Hz resolution.

Underneath, it will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC built on a 6nm process. The chipset has eight Kryo 660 Gold cores (Cortex-A77) clocked at 2.2GHz and Adreno 619 GPU. The chipset will pair with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will run on OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.

OnePlus will equip the smartphone with a triple rear camera setup comprising a primary 108MP sensor. A 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor will accompany the primary sensor. The display will house the 16MP selfie camera inside the punch-hole. Both cameras will be able to record videos at 1080p at 30fps. The smartphone is said to be backed by a large 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G Specifications

The Nord CE 2 Lite features a 6.59-inch LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It came with OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. OnePlus had equipped the smartphone with a triple-camera setup. The setup comprises a primary 64MP sensor and two 2MP macro and depth sensors. The 16MP selfie camera is housed inside the punch-hole. The smartphone is backed by a 5000 mAh battery and available in Black Dust and Blue Tide colours.
