
Your LG TV can now play Xbox games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Hogwarts Legacy. The Xbox app is now available on LG Smart TVs, allowing users to stream Xbox games on the big screen at home, from the latest indie hits to big AAA titles. The Xbox app is currently available on LG TVs and select smart monitors running the latest webOS 24 and newer.
Accessible via the LG Apps interface and Gaming Portal, the Xbox app will enable LG TV owners to play games with any compatible controller. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will enable access to a wide variety of titles from publishers such as Activision, Bethesda, Blizzard, Mojang, Xbox Game Studios and more.
With an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership, LG Smart TV owners can play the latest titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Avowed, and upcoming releases like Towerborne. Game Pass also allows users to stream certain games they already own, such as NBA 2K25 and Hogwarts Legacy.
The Xbox app and cloud gaming will be available to LG Smart TV users in 25 countries – Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and USA.
LG plans to elevate gaming with the Xbox app along with its OLED TVs and QNED TVs, which support 4K upscaled gameplay.
