Relatively a new entrant in the OTT market, Jio Cinema caught the attention of the audience with free streaming of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and is now coming with a host of shows and movies next month.
Jio Cinema has announced its upcoming schedule of shows and films for June 2023 in a quick, thirty-second video that was broadcast to its social media accounts on YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram. Jio Cinema has announced that it will be having a new premiere of a movie every week and will be releasing a new episode of a show every Friday. And above all, it’s all free for now. Mumbaikar
According to the official synopsis released by Jio Cinema, Mumbaikar is a thrilling action-packed, and suspenseful movie that involves a mysterious abduction and the dealings related to it in the city of dreams, Mumbai. Santosh Sivan is the director of the action-thriller drama Mumbaikar. The movie is a remake of the popular Tamil film, “Maanagaram,” which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Vikrant Massey, Vijay Sethupathi, and Tanya Maniktala play the main characters in the Hindi film Mumbaikar. Amit Joshi wrote the movie’s script. Jio Studios will be releasing Mumbaikar on June 2.

Bloody Daddy
The Ali Abbas Zafar-directed criminal thriller will debut on JioCinema on June 9 in a direct-to-digital release. Shahid Kapoor, who just made his OTT debut with Prime Video’s “Farzi” series, is now coming with this new endeavour. Written by Ali Abbas and Aditya Basu and tells the tale of Sumair (Kapoor) as he battles white-collar drug lords from Gurugram, dishonest pals, a brutal crime boss, homicidal narcs, and both dishonest and honest cops in one fateful night. The makers released a teaser to give a sneak peek into the life of Sumair.
Sanjay Kapoor, Ronit Roy, and Rajiv Khandelwal in addition to Shahid Kapoor have significant roles in the film. Ali Abbas Zafar is the film’s director, and Jyoti Deshpande, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, Ali Abbas Zafar, Sunir Kheterpal, and Gaurav Bose are its producers.

Asur Season 2
The second season of the well-known web series Asur premiere date has finally been revealed by the show’s creators. Arshad Warsi will star in the June 1 JioCinema launch of Asur 2. For Asur 2, Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti will collaborate once more. The second season will debut on JioCinema, whilst the first season aired on VOOT.
The second season has finally returned after more than two years of fan anticipation. The official trailer released a while ago shows a boy saying that he wants to become a Danav, Daitya, or Asur. In the one-minute fifty-five seconds trailer, the movie is able to give viewers lots of goosebumps while yet keeping a sense of tension, dread, and excitement. Barun Sobti, Arshad Warsi, Amey Wagh, and Riddhi Dogra will return for Asur 2 in their respective roles from the first season, which debuted in 2020.

The audience has always enjoyed watching Bigg Boss. The show consistently achieves the highest TRPs and popularity. On the OTT Platform, a scaled-down version of Bigg Boss debuted the previous year. Filmmaker Karan Johar served as the show’s host, and Divya Agarwal emerged victorious. The crowd eagerly anticipates Bigg Boss OTT Season 2.
The second season was scheduled to premiere in August or September, but it has already been made known that the OTT version will be accessible starting next month. Sushmita Sen is a model, actor, and actress who is well-liked worldwide. In 2020, she made her debut in the digital world by starring as Aarya Sareen in the Disney+ Hotstar series Aarya. Her upcoming web series will soon be available digitally.
According to rumours, Sushmita Sen took close to six months to accept the project, which is titled Taali. She will play the transgender activist Gauri Sawant in the upcoming web series.
Taali appears in the video teaser that Jio Cinema shared. It contains several instances where Sushmita Sen seems to be Shreegauri Sawant, also known as Gauri Sawant. The release date is not made public, though.
