Vaio has launched a premium laptop after announcing its comeback. The company’s latest offering is the Vaio Z (2021) which comes with the latest Intel 11th generation Tiger Lake CPU.
Vaio Z (2021) price in India
The Vaio Z (2021) is currently available for pre-order in the US. It comes in four storage configurations. The 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant is priced at $3,579, which is roughly Rs. 2,59,900. It has also launched the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage and 16GB RAM + 2TB storage options of the Vaio Z (2021). Both models are priced at $3,779 (roughly Rs. 2,74,400) and $3,979 (roughly Rs. 2,88,900), respectively.
Lastly, the top-end variant with 32GB RAM and 2TB storage is price at $4,179 (roughly Rs. 3,03,400).
Vaio Z (2021) specifications
The Vaio Z (2021) sports a 14-inch Ultra-HD 4K display with a 3,840 x 2,160 resolution and HDR support. The screen comes with a lid on top that can open up to 180 degrees.
Under the hood, the laptop runs on an Intel 11th generation Core i7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics. There is up to 32GB of RAM onboard with up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage. For thermal management, the Z (2021) comes with the company’s Vaio TruePerformance technology.
The laptop runs on Windows 10 Pro. It comes with Windows Hello and a fingerprint sensor for easy sign-in.
The Z (2021) also comes with Dolby Audio sound and stereo speakers. It has two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
There is also an in-built web-cam for video calls. The company claims that the laptop offers up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge. It comes with a 65W fast charger in the box.
