Varalaru Mukkiyam, a Tamil-language romantic comedy-drama, will be available to watch on Netflix in India from January 15, 2023. This is the directorial debut of Santhosh Rajan, who is also the writer. RB Choudary has produced the movie via his company Super Good Films. Pragya Nagra, Kashmira Pardeshi, and Jiiva play the lead roles in this movie. The movie was released in theatres on the 9 December, 2022, and sadly wasn’t well-received by audiences. It received mixed reviews from critics and audiences and was a flop at the box office.

In this story, we are introduced to Karthik, who harbours aspirations of becoming famous. His friend Adaikalam wants to be a politician. Karthik falls for his new neighbour but in a weird twist, the sister of his love interest falls for him. This creates a lot of confusion, which the story revolves around.

This movie received poor ratings from audiences and critics although it has an IMDb score of 7.0. Critics seem to have panned the movie en masse but the audience has had mixed perception about the movie.
