Vi, formerly known as Vodafone Idea, has introduced a new family postpaid plan for customers in UP East. The new family postpaid plan is an upgraded version of the Rs 699 Entertainment Plus postpaid plan that is meant for one individual. The new postpaid plan offers a host of interesting features like unlimited data for primary number, subscription to some popular OTT platforms, and more. Vi launches Rs 948 family postpaid plan
The telecom operator has introduced the new plan in the UP East circle. The Vi Entertainment Plus 699 Family postpaid plan comes with a price tag of Rs 948 with one additional connection. The additional connection is chargeable at Rs 249 and was first reported by OnlyTech. Coming to the benefits, the plan offers family 2 connections at no additional cost. Customers can also add up to 5 connections including one primary at Rs 249 each per month.
The new family postpaid plan offers unlimited data for the primary number. However, for the secondary number, users will get 30GB of data per month. Once the data is finished, the secondary users will be charged at Rs 20 per GB. Moving, both the numbers come with unlimited voice calls on local, STD, and national roaming. The postpaid plan also offers 100 SMS per month for both the connections. Furthermore, the connections will get free Vi Movies and TV subscription.
Coming to the OTT benefits, the Rs 948 family postpaid plan offers one year of free Amazon Prime subscription for the primary number. Customers can also avail one year of free membership to ZEE5 Premium.
Previously, Vi introduced Rs 1,348 REDX Family postpaid plan for its customers in the country. The family postpaid plan offers 2 family connections and one can add up to 4 numbers at Rs 249 for each connection. The postpaid plan offers unlimited voice calls and data for the primary number. However, the data limit is set to 30GB for the secondary number. Apart from this, the plan also offers one year of subscriptions for Netflix, Amazon Prime, and ZEE5 Premium. However, it is important to note that the subscriptions are only valid for the primary numbers.
