Now, India’s third largest telecom operator, Vodafone-Idea has launched a Rs 401 plan under its postpaid segment in the country. The newly launched plan provides a premium HD subscription to Sun NXT application for one year. This development comes soon after it announced its partnership with the Atrangii app to provide regional content through its in-house application.

It is worth noting that this plan is already listed on the company website under the individual plan segment and offers 50GB of 4G data and unlimited data between 12 AM to 6 AM. Plus, Rs 401 postpaid plan ships 200 data rollover facility, 3000 messages per month, and access to several OTT apps such as SunNXT Premium subscription for one year, which is worth Rs 799, VIP access to the company’s application, ZEE5 Premium Movies, Ad-free Hungama music with Unlimited downloads for six months, and over 1000+ free games on Vi app.
This plan is designed for an individual and will provide 50GB extra data in case of online purchasing. To those uninitiated, the company also offers a Rs 401 plan under the same segment, which provides Sony Liv app access for one year, and the rest of the benefits are the same.
Airtel And Reliance Jio Rs 399 Postpaid Plan
It is worth noting that both leading telecom operators offer Rs 399 postpaid plans, which can compete with the newly launched Vodafone-Idea’s plan of Rs 401.
Airtel Rs 399 Postpaid Plan: Details
The Rs 399 of the Airtel offer 40GB of data, unlimited calling, and 100 messages per day, as benefits from the Airtel Xstream application. However, this pack does not ship content from any other OTT platform.
Reliance Jio Rs 399 Postpaid Plan: Details
On the other hand, the Reliance Jio Rs 399 plan provides 75GB of data for one month. The Rs 399 offers 200GB data rollover facilities, unlimited calling, and access to applications like Netflix and Amazon Prime. In addition, the pack offers JioTV, JioSecurity, and JioCloud access for the same period.
Vodafone-Idea Rs 401 Plan Vs Airtel And Jio Rs 399 Plan
It is important to note that for the Vodafone-Idea plan customer has to pay Rs 2 extra, while Airtel and Jio pack is priced at Rs 399. Additionally, the Reliance Jio plan of Rs 399 is ahead of Airtel and Vodafone-Idea’s newly launched plan as the former offers 75GB of data, while Airtel offers only 40GB and Vi ships 50GB of data for the same period. Moreover, the Jio plan offers content from leading applications like Netflix and Amazon Prime, which again is a plus point.
