Vivo has been teasing the launch of the Vivo V29e smartphone in recent weeks. The company has been teasing the specifications of the smartphone through its dedicated micro-site of the forthcoming smartphone. Flipkart has also created a landing page for the smartphone where it teases the specifications of the upcoming device. Vivo has also teased the price range of the smartphone through a teaser. MySmartPrice exclusively revealed the launch timeline of the smartphone. Our report claimed that Vivo will launch the smartphone in India by the end of August. Vivo has officially announced the smartphone’s launch date through a new teaser.
Vivo V29e Launch Date and Confirmed Specifications
Vivo confirms that the company will launch Vivo V29e smartphone in India on August 28. The event will start at 12 PM and will be streaming on the social media handles of Vivo. The micro-site of the upcoming smartphone confirmed that Vivo will price the smartphone between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000. A report claimed that Vivo will launch the smartphone with 8GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 256GB configurations. The forthcoming smartphone is confirmed to be available through Vivo eStore, Flipkart and retail outlets.
Vivo will launch the forthcoming device in Artistic Red and Artistic Blue colour options. The Artistic Red variant will feature a colour-changing rear panel. The micro-site has displayed a teaser video of the maroon-coloured rear panel changing to Black colour. The company will equip the smartphone with a 3D curved screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display will likely be a 6.73-inch panel with a Full HD+ resolution. The display will have a centered punch-hole cut-out to house the selfie camera.
Vivo confirms that the smartphone will have a primary 64MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). Vivo has teased the night portrait photography of the primary sensor through its micro-site. The official smartphone renders revealed that the device will be equipped with dual rear cameras. Vivo is likely to equip the smartphone with a secondary 2MP depth sensor. The company also teases that it will equip the device with a 50MP selfie camera.
The teaser suggests that the selfie camera will have support for eye autofocus. Vivo claims the forthcoming device is the thinnest in the Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 segment with a 7.5mm thickness. The device will weigh around 180.5 grams with a 2.29mm one-piece narrow frame. The company will equip the device’s rear panel with a glossy finish with geometrical shapes on the left and leather texture on the right. Other specifications of the upcoming Vivo V29e smartphone are currently unknown. Vivo might launch the other V29 series smartphones in India in September.
