Vivo is tipped to be working on the Vivo NEX 5. The smartphone’s specifications and key details have leaked. According to reports, the device will launch during the second half of the year. The company will launch two versions of the device. The high-end model is tipped to come with an under-screen camera. Vivo, last year, showcased its under-display selfie camera at the APEX 2020  concept phone event. The NEX 5 will also come in a standard variant with a hole-punch cutout. It will have a quad-curved design, with the display curved along the edges. Let’s take a look at the Vivo NEX 5 specifications, features, and other details.

Vivo is working on the Vivo NEX 5. The smartphone’s specifications and features have leaked ahead of its launch later this year.

According to a leaker on Weibo, the NEX 5 will come with a 6.78-inch quad-curved display. The device will launch in two variants. One of the two models will have an under-display camera. The other standard model will come with a hole-punch display. The leaker claims that the device will have a 32MP front camera.

On the back, the phone will feature the Samsung 50MP GN2 sensor. It will come with Zeiss optics and OIS. We can expect the high-end Vivo smartphone to come with Gimbal Stabilisation 2.0. The phone will also have a 50MP ultrawide lens.

The tipster further adds that the phone will pack a 4,500 mAh battery with 66W wired and 40W wireless charging. However, another leaker claims that phone will have a 120W wired fast charging support and 60W wireless charging. The device will come with IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

It is expected to launch during the second half of the year. The company has not made any official announcement on the same.
