Vivo Pad Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch: To Come with Snapdragon 870 SoC, 2.5k Display

Vivo is gearing up to launch its first-ever Android tablet – the Vivo Pad in its domestic market. Ahead of the launch, the brand has already started dropping the teasers for the upcoming tablet. Just yesterday, Vivo revealed the complete design of the upcoming device. Now, detailed specifications of the upcoming Vivo Pad tablet have surfaced on the web. Based on the specifications, the upcoming Vivo Pad appears to be a flagship tablet.

Vivo Pad Specifications and Features

The upcoming Vivo Tablet is said to offer an 11-inch display with a 2.5k resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel on the upcoming tablet will support Dolby Vision as well. It is not clear if the brand will offer an OLED display or an LCD display on the Vivo Pad.


Powering the Vivo Pad might be an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. The Snapdragon 870 is built on a 7nm fabrication process and brings with it an Adreno 650 GPU. The tablet is said to boot OriginOS, based on Android 11. The Vivo tablet will be equipped with an 8040 mAh battery and 44W fast charging support.

Vivo has already revealed the design of the upcoming Vivo Pad tablet. Based on teasers, the Vivo Pad will have a flat edge design with a metal back panel. The tablet is confirmed to offer a dual-rear camera setup which will reside on the top left corner of the back panel.

The teasers have also confirmed a quad stereo speaker setup on the Vivo Pad. Along the bottom edge will be the Type-C charging port. Whereas, the right edge will house the power button and volume rockers. The quad-speakers will be placed along the top and bottom edges of the device.

The upcoming Vivo tablet will also support Vivo Pencil. Vivo will also launch a compatible Keyboard Folio case for the Vivo Pad which will attach to the tablet using the magnetic pogo pins.
