Vivo appears to be working on two new smartphones. The two smartphones with the model numbers Vivo PD1602 and Vivo PD1728 have recently appeared on the Geekbench database website, which gives us an idea about some of their key specifications. For starters, both the devices are 5G devices, leading us to believe that they might be the company’s upcoming flagship smartphones. Vivo PD1602 and Vivo PD1728 Geekbench Listing Confirms a Snapdragon 865 Processor and 5G Support
Before we jump into conclusions, we should keep in mind that the Geekbench listings could very well be tempered, so we might as well take this report with a pinch of salt till the time there is some official confirmation on the same. We are not aware of the monikers of either of the devices for now.
Vivo PD1602: Geekbench Scores and Specifications
The Vivo PD1602 has scored 926 in the single-core test and 3,321 in the multi-core test. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G platform, which will be paired with 8GB of RAM. We can see that the Vivo PD1602 is running on the latest Android 10 OS. The motherboard of the Vivo PD1602 has been listed as ‘Kona.’
Vivo PD1728: Geekbench Scores and Specifications
Shifting focus to the Vivo PD1728, the device appears to feature all the way better specifications because its Geekbench listing suggests that it features 12GB of RAM. As far as the Geekbench scores are concerned, the Vivo PD1728 has scored 923 in the single-core test and 3,395 in the multi-core test. The Vivo PD1728 will also utilize a 1.80GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Lastly, we can see that the device runs on Android 10 out of the box.
