Vivo S1 Pro Video Teaser Confirms 48MP Quad Camera Setup, 32MP Selfie Camera; To Launch in India Soon

It has already been reported that Vivo is planning on launching the Vivo S1 Pro smartphone somewhere in January 2020. We got to know about the same a little while ago, and now, a new report has popped up on the internet that confirms some of the camera specifications of the device. Furthermore, the fact that the device will launch in India in January is now double-checked. The new report comes in the form of a teaser video for the device. Let’s have a look at the specifications that have got confirmed recently.

The promotional video for the device was first spotted and shared by Mahesh Telecom on Twitter. The footage showcases that the Vivo S1 Pro will feature a quad rear camera setup with a 48MP primary lens. Plus, the front camera will be a 32MP unit.

What about the rest of the specifications? Well, if the company does not change the specifications the Vivo S1 Pro Chinese variant possesses, we can expect it to feature a 6.39-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,340 × 1,080 pixels. Thanks to a pop-up camera mechanism, the display of the Vivo S1 Pro occupies most of the front of the device as the company has tried to keep the bezels to a minimum. The device comes in two paint jobs – Blue and Red. Powering the Vivo S1 Pro is a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor which is coupled with an Adreno 612 GPU, 6GB/8GB of RAM and 256GB/128GB of internal storage which can further be increased by up to 256GB with the help of an external SD card.

On the software front, the Vivo S1 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box with FunTouch OS 9.2 skin on top of it. As per the report that we have received, the Vivo S1 Pro could come with the new FunTouch OS 10 Indian version when it launches in the country. Moving on to the battery of the device, the Vivo S1 Pro is fueled with a 3,700mAh battery which has support for 22.5W fast charging. For photography, the Vivo S1 Pro sports a quad-camera setup at the back, which consists of a 48MP primary sensor. At the front, as said, the Vivo S1 Pro comes with a 32MP selfie snapper. Connectivity features of the Vivo S1 Pro include 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, and USB Type-C port.
