Vivo S12 Pro with Dimensity 1200, 12GB RAM Listed on Geekbench, Official Renders Revealed: Expected Specifications

Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo S12 series devices in China. The Vivo S12 series will consist of two devices – the Vivo S12, and the Vivo S12 Pro. These devices are scheduled to launch next week on December 22nd. Ahead of the launch, our in-house leakster, Venkatesh has spotted Vivo V12 Pro with model number V2163A on the Geekbench benchmark website. The Geekbench listing confirms key specifications of the handset including the presence of an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity processor. Let us take a closer look at the Geekbench listing,

Vivo S12 Pro will be powered by Dimensity 1200 Processor!

Vivo V2163A Geekbench 5 listing reveals a single-core score of 868 points. Whereas, the multicore scores in the same test are reported as 2995 points. The listing further reveals that the handset will be powered by an octa-core processor with a 1+3+4 core configuration and k6893x1_64 codename.

Going by these details, it looks like that the upcoming Vivo S12 Pro will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. This is the same processor that we have seen on several upper mid-range handsets such as OnePlus Nord 2, POCO F3 GT, and Realme X7 Max. The listing also reveals the presence of 12GB of RAM on the upcoming Vivo handset. Also, the handset will come pre-loaded with Android 11.

Vivo S12 Pro: Renders and Design

The official renders shared by the company reveal that the handset will come with a curved display and a huge notch up top. The official teasers also confirm that the device will pack a triple rear camera setup including a 108MP primary shooter with OIS.

A recent leak had suggested that the device will offer a 6.5-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The primary sensor on the device is said to be accompanied by an 8MP OmniVision OV8856 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP B&W lens. The device is said to feature a dual-front camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The handset might come equipped with a 4,300mAh battery and 44W fast charging support.
