Vivo has officially confirmed the launch date of the Vivo S12 series. As per the teaser released by Vivo, the Vivo S12 series will launch in China on December 22 at 7:30 PM (local time). The reservation of the Vivo S12 series also has started in China ahead of the phone’s official debut. The teaser video released by Vivo only confirms the launch date of the S12 lineup and has no details about the specifications or design of the devices. The upcoming Vivo S12 series is supposed to include two devices namely the Vivo S12 and the Vivo S12 Pro. The Vivo S12 series will be replacing the Vivo S10 lineup, which was announced by Vivo earlier this year. Let us take a look ahead as to what the Vivo S12 series will offer:

Vivo S12 Series Launch Set For December 22

The upcoming Vivo S12 and the S12 Pro will be the company’s first smartphones to come with Origin Ocean UI, which was announced recently by Vivo. Speaking about the specifications, the Vivo S12 lineup is rumoured to pack an octa-core Dimensity 1200 processor. The Vivo S12 Pro is supposed to feature an OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The display panel is tipped to consist of a wider notch, which might include two camera sensors. For security purpose, the device is said to sport an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The past leak suggests that the device will feature a 50MP main camera at the front and a 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the backside, the S12 Pro is tipped to feature a triple-camera setup, which might include a 108MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP sensor. As of now the battery capacity details of the handset remains unknown. It is said that the device’s battery will offer 44W fast charging support. As for the pricing, the Vivo S12 Pro is supposed to retail in China for CNY 3,000 (roughly Rs 35,300).
