Vivo has launched the Vivo S12 series devices in the domestic market. The Vivo S12 series consists of two devices – Vivo S12 and Vivo S12 Pro. The S12 series handsets are powered by MediaTek Dimensity processors and pack up to 12GB of RAM. Both these devices offer 108MP triple-rear camera setups along with dual-front shooters. Let us take a detailed look at Vivo S12 and Vivo S12 Pro price, specifications and features.

Vivo S12 and Vivo S12 Pro Price

The S12 Pro comes in two configurations – 8GB + 128GB, and 12GB + 256GB. The vanilla S12 also comes in these two configurations only. The pricing is as follows,

  • S12 8GB + 128GB – RMB 2799 (approx Rs. 33,180)
  • S12 12GB + 256GB – RMB 2999 (approx Rs. 35,550)
  • S12 Pro 8GB + 128GB – RMB 3399 (approx Rs. 40,290)
  • S12 12GB + 256GB – RMB 3699 (approx Rs. 43,850)

Vivo S12 Pro Features and Specifications

The S12 Pro flaunts a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2376 × 1080 pixel resolution, 19.8:9 aspect ratio, and 90Hz refresh rate. The display can go as high as 1300nits and is also HDR10+ certified.

Powering the S12 Pro is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor that is built on a 6nm fabrication process. The graphics duties on the device are handled by Mali G77 GPU. It comes with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device comes pre-loaded with Android 11 with the company’s proprietary OriginOS Ocean on top.

Moving on to the cameras, the device offers a triple-rear camera setup with an LED flash. The primary 108MP sensor on the device gets accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119° field of view and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there is a 50MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. There is also an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 105° field of view along with a dual-tone flash at the front.

The S12 Pro is equipped with a 4,300mAh battery and 44W fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, so audio is also routed through the Type-C port. The handset measures 159.46 x 73.27 × 7.36mm and weighs 171grams. Connectivity options include Dual sim, 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Dual-band WiFi 6 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and GPS. It is available in Gold, Black, and Blue color variants.

The vanilla S12 comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 90Hz refresh rate. The display also comes with HDR10+ certification. Under-the-hood, it packs an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor fabbed on a 6nm process. The handset also packs a Mali G77 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It boots Android 11 with OriginOS Ocean skin.

On the optics front, the vanilla S12 offers a triple-rear camera setup along with an LED flash. The primary 108MP sensor on the smartphone gets coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 105° field of view, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the device offers a dual shooter with a dual-tone flash. The primary shooter is a 44MP sensor which will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

Powering the S12 is a 4,200mAh battery unit with 44W fast charging support. It has a Type-C charging port and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Similar to the Pro variant, the vanilla S12 also lacks 3.5mm audio jack. The handset measures 157.20 x 72.67 ×7.39mm and weighs 179grams. Connectivity options include Dual sim, 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Dual-band WiFi 6 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and GPS. It comes in Gold, Black, and Blue color variants, similar to the S12 Pro.
