Vivo is rumoured to launch the S17 series soon in China. The company might unveil three premium smartphones in the lineup. The S17 series will include the vanilla model, the S17e and the S17 Pro. Some key details about the S17 series have leaked in the past. The S17e will sit at the bottom of the lineup. The smartphone has now been spotted on the 3C and Google Play Console websites.

The listing on both certification websites (via) confirms some key specs about the S17e. The smartphone’s moniker and model number were revealed via the Google Play Console listing as well. Let’s take a look at the Vivo S17e specifications, features and other details known so far.

Vivo S17e Specifications: What We Know So Far

Vivo S17e will be the baseline model in the S17 series, which is set to launch soon in various markets. The phone has the model number V2285A, according to the Google Play Console listing. The phone has also cleared the 3C certification website with 80W fast charging support.

A recent Geekbench listing of the S17e revealed that the phone will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. The same SoC is found in the V27 5G in India. The listing of the S17e on Geekbench also revealed that the phone will pack 8GB RAM and a Mali-G61 MC4 GPU. We can expect Vivo to launch the phone with up to 128GB of storage at least. It will run the latest Android 13 software out of the box. The phone will have a layer of Origin OS 3 on top of Android.

The rumour mill, however, recently revealed some details about the S17 Pro, which will sit at the top of the lineup. The phone was recently spotted on Geekbench with a Dimensity 7200 SoC. Some reports have claimed that the S17 Pro will feature a Dimensity 8200 SoC. The device will launch with up to 16GB of RAM and at least 256GB of storage in China. It is also tipped to feature a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera. There will be a 12MP Sony IMX663 portrait telephoto camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The phone, like the S17e, is tipped to offer 80W fast charging support.
