Earlier today, we came across the leaked hands-on images of the upcoming Vivo S6 5G smartphone, which gave us a working clue as to what the device would look like. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer will launch the Vivo S6 5G smartphone on March 31, 2020 in China. So far, we have had pretty much all the intel surrounding the specifications and features of the Vivo S6 5G smartphone, save for its processor. Well, not anymore, as the Vivo S6 5G has finally hit the Geekbench database website, which has revealed the processor the device is going to be powered by. Take a look at the Geekbench score of the Vivo S6 5G smartphone and see what we know about the device so far.
Vivo S6 5G: Geekbench Scores and Key Specifications
As seen in the Geekbench database image, the Vivo S6 5G has managed to pull off 694 in the single-core test and 1,847 in the multi-core test. Furthermore, the Geekbench score has confirmed that the Vivo S6 5G will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 980 5G mobile platform, which will be assisted by 8GB of RAM. The previous TENAA listing for the device, however, has revealed that there will be a 6GB variant of the device as well. The internal memory variants of the device will be 128GB and 256GB.
On the software side of things, the Vivo S6 5G will ship with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box, which will be coated with the company’s very own FunTouch OS skin on top.
As far as the rest of the specifications are concerned, the Vivo S6 5G will boast a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. There will be a waterdrop notch at the top of the device, which will make room for a 32MP selfie shooter. Speaking of cameras, the Vivo S6 5G will comprise a quadruple rear camera setup, including a 48MP primary rear camera, an 8MP super wide-angle camera, and a couple of 2MP sensors. The rear camera setup will be encased within a circular module. Right underneath the camera module, there is an LED flash and underneath that, there’s a Vivo logo.
Moving on to the battery of the device, the Vivo S6 5G will feature a 4,390mAh battery, which will come with support for fast charging. The device will most likely feature a USB Type-C charging port and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
