Vivo will launch its Vivo S6 5G smartphone on March 31, 2020. So far, we have received plenty of intel surrounding the specifications and features of the company’s upcoming 5G. A little while ago, we were able to spot it on the Chinese TENAA certification website, which revealed a lot of its key specifications and features. Now, the company has posted yet another set of render images of the device, which confirm that the Vivo S6 5G will come in (at least) three color variants. Take a look at the newly teased renders of the Vivo S6 5G smartphone and see what it has in store for us.
Vivo S6 5G: Color Variants, Key Specifications, and Features
Earlier today, Vivo posted a new bunch of render images of the Vivo S6 5G smartphone, which showcase three color options to go for – Black, Blue, and White (gradient). While the actual names of the color variants of the Vivo S6 5G are not known, the Chinese post has called them Danube, Swan Lake, and Jazz Black, so we will go with them for now. The poster also shows the rear of the device once again, where we can see a circular module for the device’s quadruple rear camera setup. Right underneath the camera module, there is an LED flash and underneath that, there is a Vivo 5G branding.
Speaking of the specifications of the device, the Vivo S6 5G will flaunt a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The display of the device will come with a waterdrop notch at the top, which will house a 32MP selfie snapper. Moving around on the rear of the device, the Vivo S6 5G will feature a quadruple rear camera setup, including a 48MP primary rear camera, an 8MP super wide-angle camera, and a couple of 2MP sensors.
Under the hood, the Vivo S6 5G will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 980 5G processor, which will be paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of onboard storage. It is unclear as to whether or not the device will feature scope for storage expansion. In the software department, the Vivo S6 5G will run the latest Android 10 OS out of the box, which will be coated with the company’s in-house FunTouch OS skin on top.

Coming to the battery of the device, the Vivo S6 5G will sport a 4,390mAh battery with support for fast charging. The charging will most likely take place over a USB Type-C charging port. Plus, judging by the rear of the device, we can expect the Vivo S6 5G to feature an on-display fingerprint scanner. The Vivo S6 5G was spotted on the Geekbench database website a little while ago, where it scored 694 in the single-core test and 1,847 in the multi-core test.
