Vivo is gearing up for the launch of its brand new 5G smartphone dubbed the Vivo S6 5G on March 31, 2020. Not too long ago, we were able to spot the device on the Chinese TENAA certification website, which gave us almost all of its key specifications and features. Now, right ahead of the official launch, we have been able to spot the alleged hands-on images of the Vivo S6 5G smartphone, which showcases the device in all its glory, front and back. Take a look at the live shots of the Vivo S6 5G smartphone and the specifications and features of the device that we know so far.
Vivo S6 5G: Leaked Hands-on Images, Key Specifications
As seen in leaked hands-on images of the device (leaked on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo), the Vivo S6 5G will feature a waterdrop notch display. The chin of the device appears to be fairly wide and the display is flat around the edges. The power button and the volume button are on the right side of the device, while the SIM tray appears to be on the left side. Moving around on the rear of the device, the Vivo S6 5G will feature a quadruple rear camera setup, which will find its way inside a circular module. Right underneath the camera module, there is an LED flash and underneath that, there’s a Vivo logo.
Well, this was about the leaked hands-on image that we spotted today. Now, let’s take a look at the specifications and features of the Vivo S6 5G that the Chinese TENAA certification website revealed.
Speaking of the specifications of the device, the Vivo S6 5G will feature a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The device will most likely feature an under-display fingerprint scanner given that we cannot spot a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
In the photography department, the Vivo S6 5G will feature a 48MP primary rear camera, an 8MP super wide-angle camera, and a couple of 2MP sensors. The front camera, which will sit inside the waterdrop notch, will be a 32MP selfie snapper.

While the processor of the Vivo S6 5G is not known as of now, the TENAA certification for the website confirms that the device will be introduced with 6GB and 8GB RAM options and 128GB/256GB internal memory options. A 4,390mAh battery will keep the lights of the device on and the same will come with scope for fast charging. Though not mentioned, we can safely predict that the Vivo S6 5G will feature a USB Type-C charging port. In the software department, the Vivo S6 5G will most likely run the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house FunTouch OS skin baked on top of it.
