Vivo has released an official promo video of its upcoming smartphone called the Vivo S9 5G. According to the company, the handset is all set to launch in China on March 3, recently the design of the smartphone was revealed in the official renders. In the latest development, the company has shared an official video of the upcoming smartphone. The promo video shared by the company confirms some of the vital information about the Vivo S9 5G. The video shared by the company shows a notch design on the display of the S9 5G which seems to be wider than the predecessor. Underneath the notch design, there is a dual-camera setup for selfies and video calls. Recently the company confirmed that the handset will feature a 44-megapixel primary camera sensor at the front.

Besides, the video also confirmed a rectangular shaped camera module with a triple camera setup. Going with the previous leak the smartphone is said to include a 64-megapixel primary camera setup. The short clip suggests that the Vivo S9 5G will draw power from the Dimensity 1100 chipset and sports a UFS 3.1 storage as well.

Vivo S9 5G was recently listed on Geekbench listing revealing the phone will be backed by 12GB RAM and runs on the Android 11 operating system. The smartphone has managed to score 860 points and 3532 points in the single-core and multi-core Geekbench test. Previous leaks suggest that the phone will feature an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, it’s tipped to pack a massive 4,100mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
