Vivo seems to be planning to expand its smartphone portfolio in the global market with a launch of a new phone. Earlier today we spotted a mysterious Vivo phone on the Geekbench certification site hinting towards an imminent launch and revealing some of the important specifications of the phone. According to the listing, the upcoming Vivo handset is tipped to be powered by the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset and a lot more. Let’s have a closer look at the details of the upcoming Vivo smartphone.
Vivo (V2123A) Geekbench Listing
Vivo’s upcoming mysterious smartphone has been listed on Geekbench listing with a model number V2123A. It’s the first time a smartphone with model number V2123A has been listed on any certification site. According to the listing, the handset will be powered by an octa-core ARM MT6877 chipset which is the model number for the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset.
The Geekbench benchmarking site also confirmed that the Vivo smartphone will be backed by 8GB RAM and runs on the Android 11 operating system. The listing also revealed that the mysterious Vivo phone has managed to score 3467 points in the single-core test and 8852 points in the multi-core test. Besides this information, we don’t have any information about the display, camera, or design of the upcoming handset.
The Vivo V2123A is in the initial stage of rumours and we can expect more information about the smartphone in the upcoming days. It would be interesting to see what Vivo is cooking for us in its China’s headquarters and when the company is planning to serve it. Do note that the company is yet to reveal anything officially about the handset and it’s recommended to take this information with a pinch of salt and wait for the official announcement.
