Vivo will launch a new budget smartphone next week in India. The company has confirmed the Vivo T1X India launch date. Vivo will launch its new Series-T smartphone on July 20. The T1X 4G will be the fourth smartphone under Vivo’s Series-T lineup in India. Vivo confirmed that the phone will be available for purchase in India via Flipkart.
Meanwhile, a new report by India Today Tech revealed the key specifications of the upcoming Vivo smartphone. The report, citing tipster Yogesh Brar, claims that the Vivo T1X 4G India variant will be different from the one launched in Malaysia. Vivo T1X India Specifications Leaked
Vivo will launch the T1X in India as its new 4G smartphone. The company will be the second 4G offering in the Series-T India lineup. Ahead of the official launch, the India Today Tech report claims that the phone will sport a 6.58-inch IPS LCD. It will offer a Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate support.
The T1X 4G will share the Snapdragon 680 SoC found in the T1 44W, which was launched earlier this year in India. It will be paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The report claims that Vivo will pack a 5000 mAh battery in the T1X India variant but will offer only 18W fast charging out of the box. In comparison, the T1 44W, as the name suggests, offers 44W fast charging.
On the back, the T1X 4G will sport a dual-camera setup. It will have a 50MP main camera sensor. The report claims that the device will not come with an ultrawide camera and instead, Vivo will offer a 2MP sensor. This 2MP sensor could be used for depth sensing or macro photography.
As expected from a smartphone launching in 2022, the T1X will run Android 12 out of the box. It will have Vivo’s Funtouch OS 12.1 custom skin on top of Android. The budget smartphone is expected to be priced under Rs 15,000, competing against the likes of the Redmi Note 11, Poco M4 Pro, Realme 9, Moto G52 and other budget smartphones in this segment.
