Vivo is gearing up for another product launch in India after the V27 series smartphones. The company said it would launch a successor for Vivo’s T1 series smartphones recently. A few days ago, a report hinted that Vivo would launch the Vivo T2 5G series smartphones by mid-April in India. Later, we at MySmartPrice exclusively revealed the availability and specifications of the forthcoming smartphones. The micro-site of the upcoming T2 series smartphones has gone live on Flipkart. The listing confirms that the smartphone launch is nearing and will reveal the specifications of the device in the coming days.
Vivo T2 and Vivo T2X Flipkart Availability Confirmed
The micro-site on Flipkart reveals that the Vivo T2 5G series will launch in India soon. The listing reveals that the upcoming smartphones will feature a Turbo Display, which indicates higher refresh rates. It also reveals that the forthcoming devices will sport a Turbo Camera and Turbo Processor indicating a higher resolution camera and powerful chipset, respectively.
The company would unveil more details about the product on April 5, April 7, and April 9. The teaser image reveals that the forthcoming smartphones would feature a dual rear camera setup. The locked box near the Turbo Display reveals a waterdrop notch design and a Qualcomm 5G chipset near the Turbo Processor box. The upcoming smartphones are expected to be priced under Rs 20,000.
Previously, we exclusively reported that Vivo T2 5G series would consist of Vivo T2 and Vivo T2x smartphones. The T2 is expected to feature an AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The device would be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, which was revealed through the Google Play Console listing.
We exclusively revealed that the device would be available with 6 / 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Vivo will equip the T2 smartphone with a 64MP primary camera with OIS support. The cheapest smartphone in the series would be Vivo T2x which differs from the device launched in China. The Play Console listing revealed it would sport the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. Our industry source revealed that Vivo would launch the T2x smartphone in three different RAM and storage configurations. The chipset would pair with up to 4/ 6/ 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device will also equip a display with Full HD+ resolution and a pixel density of 440 PPI.
