Vivo has launched two new phones in India under the T2 series. The company has launched the successor of T1 series, that consists of two smartphones – Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x. After being spotted on various certification websites and listings, the company has officially launched the phones via Flipkart in the country.

The Vivo T2x 5G is the most affordable smartphone in India to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset. The Vivo T2 series features a colour changing panel on the back. Let’s check out the Vivo T2 series price in India, specifications, features and other details.

Vivo T2 5G, T2x Price in India

The Vivo T2 5G will be available in two storage variants – 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 18,999 and 8GB+128GB priced at Rs 20,999 The phone will be available in two colours – Velocity Wave, and Nitro Blaze. It goes on sale starting April 18 on Flipkart. During its first sale, users can get up to Rs 1,500 instant discount using HDFC, SBI, or ICICI bank card.

The company has also launched the Vivo T2x 5G in India today. It will be available in three storage variants – 4GB+128GB priced at Rs 12,999, 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 13,999 and 8GB+128GB priced at Rs 15,999. It will go on sale on April 21 and customers can get up to Rs 1,000 instant discount using HDFC or ICICI bank card. The phone will be available in three colour options – Marine Blue, Aurora Gold and Glimmer Back.

Vivo T2 5G, T2x Specifications

The Vivo T2 5G is the premium phone among the two. It features a 6.38-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate support. The display sports a peak brightness of 1300 nits, a contrast ratio of 6000000:1, and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. The Vivo T2x flaunts a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with a full HD+ resolution.

The T2 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset under the hood that is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the T2x is one of the selected phones in India that is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset. It also features up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Both phones boot Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.

The Vivo T2 5G features a 64MP dual camera setup on the back that gets accompanied by a 2MP depth camera and an LED flash. The primary sensor has support for Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). On the front, it features a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

The Vivo T2x sports a 50MP primary sensor that is equipped with a 2MP depth sensor on the back. For selfies and video calls, it relies on an 8MP shooter.

The Vivo T2 5G features a 4,500mAh battery unit with 66W fast charging support whereas the T2x features a bigger 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
