The Vivo T2 Pro India launch has been teased by Vivo on X (formerly Twitter). As per the teaser image shared by the company, the upcoming Vivo T2 Pro will feature a curved display. The display panel will include a punch-hole cutout which will accommodate the selfie camera. The power and volume keys will be located on the right edge of the device. As seen in the images, the power button won’t double up as a fingerprint sensor. This does suggest that the device could feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Vivo T2 Pro Confirmed To Feature Curved Display
The teaser shared by the company also confirms that the Vivo T2 Pro will be sold in India via Flipkart. Additionally, the device will be sold via the Vivo India website and retail stores in India. While Vivo has not revealed the launch date of the device, our exclusive report in collaboration with trusted sources suggests that the Vivo T2 Pro will launch in India later this month.
As far as the specifications go, the Vivo T2 Pro’s display is expected to offer a 120Hz and a 1200Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone will boast a 64MP primary camera which will have optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 4K video recording support. The device will be lightweight and ultra-slim, measuring just 7.4mm in terms of thickness. The previous report suggests that the Vivo T2 Pro will be powered by an octa-core Dimensity 7200 SoC.
The smartphone is tipped to pack up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the device is expected to offer superior specifications than the current Vivo T2 series devices. Considering that the company now has started teasing the launch of the smartphone, we might get to know the launch date of the device in the coming few days.
To recall, the current Vivo T2 series consists of two smartphones namely the Vivo T2 5G and the Vivo T2x 5G which were launched by Vivo in India back in April. Both these devices pack up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Vivo T2 5G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC, whereas the T2x 5G comes with a Dimensity 6020 chipset.
Both these smartphones feature a dual-camera setup. The Vivo T2 5G packs a 4,500mAh battery, while the T2x 5G comes with a 5,000mAh battery. On the software side of things, these smartphones run Android 13 out of the box. The Vivo T2 5G is priced at Rs 18,999 in India, whereas the T2x 5G price in India starts at Rs 12,999.
