Vivo is developing its first Android tablet, the Vivo Pad. In June of last year, the company registered the trademark “Vivo Pad” with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). The Chinese manufacturer’s forthcoming tablet is likely to be released later this year.

Popular tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some key specifications of the device on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. Let us take a closer look at the newly revealed specifications of the Vivo Pad.

Digital Chat station reveals that the Vivo pad will flaunt a 120Hz high refresh date display with narrow bezels and the front camera hidden in the bezel. The tablet is said to offer an immersive experience.

The forthcoming Vivo tablet is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, which is built on 7nm fabrication like the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro. It will also include a Terminal interconnection function that allows for screen and content sharing between Vivo devices. However, there is currently insufficient information available on this feature.

A 7,860mAh battery, rated as 8,000mAh, may power the Vivo Pad. The tablet will also enable 44W quick charging, according to DCS. Unfortunately, the insider hasn’t revealed any other information regarding the impending Vivo tablet, such as the screen size, resolution, panel type, or camera specifications.

The tablet might run on OriginOS out of the box. More information on the Vivo Pad should become available in the following months when the tablet receives certification from various organisations.

According to previous leaks, the Vivo Pad had also received the necessary TUV Rheinland certification, confirming that the Vivo Pad will have an 8,040mAh battery. Last year, OnePlus and Oppo, like Vivo, trademarked the names of their tablet devices. The OnePlus/Oppo Pad’s other specifications are currently unknown.
