According to a new report published by 91Mobiles, Vivo may soon launch a new variant of the V15 Pro in India.

Vivo V15 Pro 8GB RAM Variant Tipped to Go on Sale in India Soon
The report claims Vivo India will be launching the 8GB RAM variant of the V15 Pro in the country later this month. Currently, the V15 Pro is sold in India in a single configuration with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM variant of the V15 Pro will also pack an identical 128GB of onboard storage. As for pricing, the report suggests the new variant will be priced under INR 30,000. The 6GB RAM variant of the smartphone is currently priced at INR 28,990 in India. This means Vivo will announce a price cut for the 6GB RAM variant when it launches the 8GB RAM variant in India. Apart from more RAM, the upcoming variant will reportedly be offered in a special color.
After the price cut, the Vivo V15 Pro 6GB RAM variant will become an even more attractive option for consumers looking for a new mid-range Android smartphone. As mentioned earlier, the smartphone offers an attractive design combined with a large 6.39-inch AMOLED display panel featuring an In-display fingerprint sensor. In addition to the 32MP motorized pop-up camera for selfies, the V15 Pro has a 48MP + 8MP + 5MP triple-camera setup at the rear.
Vivo to Launch Three New Smartphones in India This Month
Apart from the 8GB RAM variant of the V15 Pro (review), the report claims the popular Chinese brand is planning to launch three new Android smartphones in India this month. The names of the three models have not been listed, although the report does say that they could be part of the Vivo U and Y series.
The latest addition to Vivo’s Y series lineup, the Y17 was launched in India last month. It sports a 6.35-inch Halo FullView display with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch at the top. The smartphone’s key highlight is a 13MP + 8MP + 2MP triple-camera setup on the back. It also has an impressive 20MP selfie camera with AI beautification feature and a portrait mode. Another key highlight of the Vivo Y17 is its massive 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
