Yesterday, a German tech publication, WinFuture, leaked the vivo V17 Pro smartphone in full, revealing all of its specifications and high-resolution renders. And today, we have official information regarding the device. Vivo has revealed it on Twitter that the brand will launch the V17 Pro in India on September 20, 2019. As the V17 Pro hasn’t been launched anywhere yet, its India launch will be a global debut.
The V17 Pro will have a pop-up front-facing camera module with two front-facing cameras. Right now, there is no other official information regarding the device specifications, but we do know what they are going to be, thanks to yesterday’s leak. Vivo V17 Pro Leaked Specifications
According to a previous leak, the vivo V17 Pro will feature a 6.44-inch AMOLED unit with Full HD+ resolution. The display is said to feature a 21:9 aspect ratio. As the device has a pop-up front-facing camera module, the display is free from any kind of notch.
Speaking of the camera, the vivo V17 Pro is said to feature four rear cameras – a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and two 2MP depth sensors. The front-facing camera setup will have a 32MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
Powering the V17 Pro will be the Snapdragon 675 SoC, and it will run Android 9 Pie OS. Mated to the chipset will be 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device is said to pack a 4100mAh battery. The leaked report claims that the connectivity options include USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Currently, there is no official information regarding the price of the V17 Pro. And moreover, there hasn’t been any leak either suggesting the price of the device. That being said, the specifications of the V17 Pro suggest that the device could be priced between INR 15,000 to INR 20,000.
