Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has finally taken the veil off its Vivo V19 smartphone in India. The Vivo V19 was supposed to launch much earlier, but its launch date was postponed owing to the ongoing lockdown in the country. Nevertheless, the device is now official in India and we have its full specifications, features, and price. The Vivo V19 sports a dual punch-hole selfie snapper, an AMOLED panel, and support for 33W fast charging. Vivo V19: price and availability
The Vivo V19 smartphone is introduced in two memory variants – one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is priced at INR 27,990 and one with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which is priced at INR 31,990. The device will be available across leading e-commerce platforms across the country, including Flipkart, Amazon, and the company’s own website. Plus, the device will be sold via offline stores as well. Interested buyers can get their hands on the Vivo V19 starting from May 15, 2020. Vivo V19: specifications and features
Starting with the display of the device, the Vivo V19 sports a 6.44-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED panel with a 2.5D curved glass. The device features a 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, a tall 20:9 aspect ratio, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. As mentioned earlier, the Vivo V19 boasts a dual punch-hole pill-shaped cutout, which makes room for a 32MP primary lens with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The device measures 159.64 x 75.04 x 8.5 mm and weighs in at 186.5 grams.
Moving around the back of the device, the Vivo V19 comes with a quadruple rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP primary lens with f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens.
Under the hood, the Vivo V19 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor, which is paired with 8GB of RAM, an Adreno 616 GPU, and up to 256GB of onboard storage. Internal storage has scope for further expansion with the help of an external SD card. On the software side of things, the Vivo V19 boots Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house FunTouch OS 10 skin baked on top of it.
Coming to the battery of the device, the Vivo V19 boasts a 4,500mAh battery, which has provision for up to 33W Vivo FlashCharge 2.0 fast charging over a USB Type-C port. The device retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. Speaking of connectivity, the Vivo V19 features dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi Wi-Fi 802.11 ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS.
